THE SPIRIT OF YOUR FESTIVAL IN
LAS VEGAS IS ALIVE AND WELL

WHAT MAKES THIS LAS VEGAS FESTIVAL DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHER JAZZ FESTIVALS?

   We read all of the comment cards yearly after the festival. Most of the comment cards reflect that this festival is, or has been, your favorite jazz festival for over a decade. For those of you that are still looking for true value, we ask you to examine these reference points of truth below to help you understand how the festival operates its guidelines.

Here are some things to think about when attending the Las Vegas City of Lights Jazz and R&B Festival:

1. The Festival capacity is at 2800, this is far less than other festivals in California or elsewhere. This intimate setting gives the festival goer a better experience because there are less people, yet just enough patrons to make this a grand jazz party.
2. The other festivals in California, ect. do not allow you to bring in your own picnic baskets with your favorite liquids and foods. This courtesy given to the attendees of the Las Vegas City of Lights Jazz and R&B Festival has always set us apart from the other festivals that force you to spend money at their bars or with their food vendors. We will continue to offer this privledge to you, our loyal fans, because we know it makes a difference.
3. Las Vegas is a 24/7 town that offers you a vacation within and after the festival hours. No other festival in the United States can make this claim. So when the event is over, you may attend house parties, or hotel and casino events. It's all there because the festival is in Las Vegas!
4. Parking is free. We never charge as they do at other festivals.
5. When you add up all of these real time values not received elsewhere, we hope that those of you that have questioned the value of the festival will seriously take into consideration the extras that come along with the purchase of your ticket to what has now become thee cultural jazz party of the year. It's 10 hours of non-stop Jazz and Rhythm and Blues music coupled with re-uniting with friends and family from all across America.
